The Leadership Circle Profile is the only instrument that measures the two primary leadership domains — Creative Competencies and Reactive Tendencies. How does the LCP Assessment work?
The Leadership Circle Profile Assessment asks you to self-assesment against the Leadership Circle model, next to the input from your boss, peers and direct reports.

How does the process work?
Step 1: Intake
The Leadership Circle Profile Assessment process starts with a 30 minute intake call, explaining the overal process and logistics.
Step 2: Assessment call
After the survey has been filled in by the people you invited and self-assessment has been completed, it is time for the Assessment call. You should imagine this of an exploration of your leadership style and the input given instead of a ‘right/wrong’ assessment.
Step 3 Follow-up
The assessment call is focussed on learning and identifying where you desire to grow your leadership style. The session comes with workbook to work on your leadership development plan. If you feel you would benefit from 1-1 coaching to build on the learnings and consolidate your growth, that is of course possible as well.

Who is this meant for?
This assessment is meant for senior professionals, that have several years of experience leading people in a formal or informal capacity. This makes this a suitable tool for (senior) executives, managers, team leaders, Agile Coaches and senior Scrum Masters, as well as people that work as external consultant.
How much time will it cost me?
Filling in your self-assessment should take you around 25 min to complete. Additionally, you will have a 30 min intake call and a 2 hour debrief call.
Since several of your colleagues and business contacts will need to fill in the survey, there will be a couple of weeks between the intake call and the assessment in order to give people time to answer the questions.

What kind of coaching is this?
The debrief call is not a coaching call. You should imagine it more as an exploration of the results and a conversation on the interpretation of those results.
Any real coaching session would take place afterwards.
Is this assessment going to tell me what I do wrong?
The Leadership Circle Profile Assessment is not about right or wrong. Instead it focusses on how different people experience your leadership style and it will provide valuable feedback on your perceived strengths and what potential growth areas are.
My Approach
In most Agile transformations, there is little to no attention for leadership development. In my experience however, an effective leadership style is essential to create the right environment where self-organising teams can flourish.
The Leadership Circle Profile has been historically been accessible only for senior executives, but in my experience this can be tremendously valuable for anyone leading people in some shape or form.
You can follow this assessment up with coaching or use the Leadership Development Plan to get the most of the feedback provided.

After the feedback and learnings in the assessment call, the best way to integrate the outcome into a way forward is to formulating leadership development goals.
